It was a normal day at work. I was waiting on an inspector to come check the job I was doing when Trevor walked over from his side of the bay. He stopped, said hi, and started asking about the work I was selling. In the middle of this conversation, Ed Cherry (Beav) the QA came over and asked Trevor why he was bothering me and keeping me from being ready to present my work. A few jokes and pokes later, Trevor ran back to his side of the bay and Beav turned and looked at me and said, “he likes you”. Like every other woman hearing those words I responded with “he’s just being nice” which was quickly denied by Beav. That’s when his matchmaking began.

After a couple weeks of Beav bothering Trevor to ask me out, he suggested I give him a little hint that I would say yes. I took the suggestion and ran with it. Trevor was having trouble getting our coworkers to pay for a work event that he was helping to organize so I jumped in to help. In a couple of days, I got everyone to pay, signed up a few more people, and even got some supervisors to sponsor, giving us snack money for the events. Trevor came over to my side of the bay to say thank you and I told him he needed to do more than that to show his thanks. He asked if I liked sushi, I said yes, and he said, “ok cool” and walked away! The next day he finally asked me out! Our first date was Mother’s Day brunch at Marie Callender's in 2017 and we have been together ever since!

Since then, we’ve become a little family with two of us and my dog Rocky, we got him a brother, Harley, acquired an awesome offroad/camping set up, moved to another state, bought a house, and built a life together that we love.

Our wedding day has been long anticipated, and we can’t wait to share it with the people we love the most!
